SHAFAQNA (Shia News Association) — In what can be suspected as a sectarian attack, a roadside bomb has killed 14 Shiite Muslims, including two children, and injuring four others, in northwest tribal area of Pakistan when their vehicle was blown up on Wednesday morning, The Shia Post reported.
As per report, a minibus was carrying minority Shiite Muslims for the nearby district of Kohat.
Two women, a three-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy were among the martyrs.
The officials also said that the victims were all members of a family.
“The incident took place shortly after the bus left Spai village in the Orakzai tribal area”, Jamil Khan told a news agency.
“It was remote-controlled bomb planted on the road. The bomb exploded near a pick-up van carrying passengers,” Zakir Hussain, an official, was quoted as saying. — www.shafaqna.com/english/
